A blender is an electric kitchen machine used to mix, crush, grind, or puree food and liquids into a smooth mixture. It consists of a motor base, a container (jar), sharp rotating blades at the bottom, and a lid to prevent spillage during operation. Blenders are commonly used in homes, restaurants, and food businesses to prepare juices, smoothies, sauces, soups, and other blended foods. Some advanced models come with multiple speed settings and functions for different types of ingredients.
In operation, ingredients are placed inside the jar and the lid is securely closed. When the blender is switched on, the motor rotates the blades at high speed, creating a spinning motion that pulls the ingredients down and blends them evenly. The user can control the speed depending on the texture needed, from coarse to very smooth. Once blending is complete, the machine is turned off, and the mixture is poured out for use.
