A face time attendance system is a biometric access and attendance management device that uses facial recognition technology to accurately identify individuals and record their attendance without physical contact. It comprises a high-resolution camera, infrared or visible light sensors, facial recognition algorithms, a touch display, internal memory, network connectivity (Wi-Fi/Ethernet), and attendance management software. The system captures and compares facial features with stored biometric templates in a secure database, providing fast, accurate, and reliable identification while minimizing proxy attendance and unauthorized access. Operation:
During operation, the user stands in front of the device, which captures a live facial image and analyzes unique facial characteristics using advanced recognition algorithms. The captured image is compared with the enrolled biometric records, and upon successful verification, the system records the user’s attendance with the date and time, while optionally granting access through a connected door control system. Attendance records are stored locally or transmitted to a central management server for monitoring and reporting.
