A handheld inkjet printer is a portable device used to print text, numbers, logos, barcodes, and dates directly onto different surfaces such as cartons, plastic, metal, wood, and paper. It is commonly used in packaging, manufacturing, warehouses, and small businesses for marking products quickly and efficiently. The machine consists of a compact body with a print head, ink cartridge, control screen, battery, and simple control buttons for setting printing content.
In operation, the user first installs the ink cartridge and sets the desired text or design using the control panel or touchscreen. Once ready, the printer is switched on and positioned close to the surface to be printed. As the user moves the device steadily across the surface, the print head sprays tiny droplets of ink in a controlled pattern to form the required text or image. The printing is quick and dries fast, depending on the ink type. After use, the printer is turned off, and the print head is covered to prevent the ink from drying out.
