A single-wind disinfection cabinet is a kitchen and hygiene appliance used to sterilize and dry utensils such as plates, cups, and tools using hot air, UV light, or both. The term “single-wind” refers to a single air circulation system (fan) inside the cabinet that distributes heat evenly. It is commonly used in homes, restaurants, and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. The cabinet is usually made of stainless steel and includes one door, internal racks, heating elements, a fan for air circulation, UV sterilization lamps (in some models), and a control panel for setting time and temperature.
In operation, washed utensils are placed neatly on the racks inside the cabinet, and the door is securely closed. The user selects the desired disinfection mode and time. Once switched on, the heating element produces hot air while the internal fan circulates it evenly (single-wind system), ensuring all items are dried and exposed to high temperatures. If equipped, UV light further kills bacteria and germs. The process runs for a set period until the items are fully disinfected and dry. After completion, the cabinet automatically stops, and the clean utensils are ready for safe use.
