A Tractor is a powerful agricultural vehicle designed to provide traction and power for performing various farming operations such as plowing, harrowing, planting, spraying, and hauling. It is widely used on farms and construction sites. A tractor typically consists of an engine (diesel in most cases), transmission system, large rear wheels (or tracks), smaller front wheels, a driver’s seat and controls, a power take-off (PTO) shaft, hydraulic system, and a hitching system for attaching implements like ploughs, trailers, or seeders.

In operation, the tractor’s engine generates power by burning fuel, which is transmitted through the gearbox and drivetrain to rotate the wheels, allowing the tractor to move. The operator controls speed and direction using the steering wheel, clutch, gear lever, and brakes. The hydraulic system is used to lift, lower, and control attached implements, while the PTO shaft transfers rotational power from the engine to operate machines such as water pumps, sprayers, or harvesters. When an implement is attached, the tractor pulls or powers it across the field to perform tasks like tilling soil or transporting goods. Tractors are essential machines in modern agriculture because they increase efficiency, reduce manual labor, and enable large-scale farming operations.
