A single-door drying box is an enclosed heating machine used to remove moisture from materials such as food, chemicals, wood, or equipment. It is commonly used in laboratories, workshops, and food processing industries. The machine consists of a well-insulated metal cabinet with one front door, internal shelves or trays for holding items, heating elements, a temperature control system, and sometimes a fan for air circulation. It is designed to maintain a stable temperature for effective and uniform drying.
In operation, the items to be dried are placed on the trays inside the box, and the door is tightly closed to retain heat. The user sets the desired temperature using the control panel. Once switched on, the heating elements generate heat, and in some models, a fan circulates hot air evenly throughout the chamber. This heat causes moisture in the materials to evaporate gradually. The drying process continues for a set period until the required dryness is achieved. After completion, the machine is turned off, allowed to cool, and the dried items are removed.
