A hose pipe crimping machine is industrial equipment used to securely attach metal fittings or couplings onto hydraulic and industrial hoses by compressing a ferrule around the hose end. It consists of a hydraulic or electric power unit, a set of interchangeable dies, a crimping head, and a control system for adjusting pressure and diameter settings. The machine is designed to handle different hose sizes and ensure strong, leak-proof connections suitable for high-pressure applications.
In operation, the hose with its fitting is placed into the crimping die set and positioned inside the crimping head. Once the correct die size is selected, the hydraulic system is activated, forcing the dies to close evenly around the ferrule and compress it tightly onto the hose. This creates a permanent, high-strength bond between the hose and fitting. After crimping, the dies retract, and the finished hose assembly is removed. Hose crimping machines are widely used in hydraulic systems, automotive workshops, construction equipment maintenance, and industrial fluid transfer systems.
