A petrol vibrator is a portable concrete compaction machine powered by a gasoline engine. It consists of a petrol engine, flexible shaft, and vibrating poker (needle) that is inserted into freshly poured concrete. The engine drives the flexible shaft, causing the vibrator head to rotate at high speed and generate vibrations. These vibrations remove trapped air, reduce voids, and ensure uniform distribution of concrete, resulting in increased density and strength. Petrol vibrators are ideal for construction sites where electricity is unavailable or unreliable.

Operation

To operate the petrol vibrator, first check the fuel level, engine oil, and ensure all components are securely connected. Start the petrol engine and allow it to run at the recommended speed. Insert the vibrating poker vertically into the freshly poured concrete at regular intervals and allow it to vibrate until air bubbles cease to appear on the surface. Gradually withdraw the vibrator to avoid creating voids and repeat the process across the entire concrete section. After use, switch off the engine, clean the vibrator head and shaft, and store the machine in a dry and safe location.
