An Electric Forklift is a battery-powered material handling machine designed for lifting, transporting, stacking, and unloading heavy loads within warehouses, factories, distribution centers, and industrial facilities. It consists of a robust chassis, electric drive motor, hydraulic lifting system, mast, forks, rechargeable battery pack, steering system, operator controls, and safety features such as brakes, lights, and overload protection. The electric power system provides quiet, emission-free operation, making it suitable for indoor use while delivering efficient and precise load handling.
Operation
To operate the electric forklift, the operator first checks the battery charge and the condition of the machine before switching on the power. The forks are positioned under the load, and the hydraulic controls are used to lift it to the required height while maintaining stability. The operator then drives the forklift to the desired location using the steering and speed controls, carefully transports the load, and lowers it into position using the hydraulic system. After completing the task, the forks are lowered completely, the forklift is parked safely, switched off, and connected to the charger if necessary, ensuring efficient and safe material handling operations.
