The Jiangdong Diesel Engine is a compression-ignition internal combustion engine designed to provide dependable mechanical power for agricultural, construction, industrial, and water pumping applications. It is typically available in single-cylinder and multi-cylinder configurations and features a robust cast-iron construction, direct or indirect fuel injection system, efficient cooling system (air-cooled or water-cooled), fuel tank, lubrication system, and manual or electric starting mechanism. The engine is engineered for fuel efficiency, durability, low maintenance, and continuous operation under demanding working conditions.
Operation:
The Jiangdong Diesel Engine operates by drawing air into the combustion chamber, where it is highly compressed to raise its temperature. Diesel fuel is then injected into the compressed hot air, causing spontaneous ignition and generating power. The resulting force drives the piston, which rotates the crankshaft to produce mechanical output. Before starting, the operator should check fuel, engine oil, and coolant levels (for water-cooled models). The engine is started using a recoil starter, hand crank, or electric starter, depending on the model. During operation, the throttle controls engine speed and power output. Regular monitoring of engine temperature, oil pressure, and fuel supply ensures efficient and safe performance. After use, the engine should be allowed to idle briefly before shutdown to promote proper cooling and prolong engine life.
