A petrol water pump is a portable machine powered by a petrol engine and designed to transfer water from one location to another. It is commonly used for irrigation, drainage, construction work, firefighting, and domestic water supply, especially in areas without electricity. The pump mainly consists of a petrol engine, pump housing, impeller, suction inlet, and delivery outlet, all mounted on a strong frame for easy transportation and operation.
Operation
The operation of a petrol water pump begins by filling the pump casing with water to prime it and adding petrol to the fuel tank. When the engine is started, it rotates the impeller inside the pump, creating suction that draws water through the suction hose into the pump casing. The impeller then forces the water out through the delivery outlet at high pressure to the required destination. The pump continues operating as long as the engine is running and fuel is available.
