A Hand-Held Pneumatic Pick is a portable, air-powered demolition tool designed for breaking concrete, asphalt, rocks, masonry, and other hard materials. It consists of a robust steel body, ergonomic handles, a pneumatic cylinder with an impact piston, a trigger control valve, and a replaceable chisel or moil point. The tool operates by converting compressed air supplied from an external air compressor into rapid reciprocating hammer blows, delivering high-impact force while maintaining a relatively lightweight and compact design suitable for manual operation in confined or outdoor work environments.
Operation
To operate the hand-held pneumatic pick, connect it securely to a suitable compressed air supply using the recommended air hose and fittings, then install the appropriate chisel for the intended application. Position the tool firmly against the work surface and squeeze the trigger to allow compressed air into the cylinder, causing the piston to strike the chisel repeatedly at high speed. The operator guides the tool steadily through the material while maintaining a secure grip and proper stance. After completing the task, release the trigger to stop the impact action, disconnect the air supply, and clean and lubricate the tool regularly to ensure reliable performance and extend its service life.
