A JS 500 is a type of concrete mixer, specifically a twin-shaft compulsory mixer, commonly used in construction for producing uniform and high-quality concrete. The “500” typically refers to its capacity, meaning it can produce about 500 liters (0.5 cubic meters) of concrete per batch. It consists of a mixing drum or trough, twin horizontal shafts with mixing blades, an electric motor, a feeding system (hopper), and a discharge system. It is widely used in batching plants, building construction, and precast concrete production.
Operation
When the machine is started, the electric motor drives the twin shafts inside the mixing chamber. Raw materials such as cement, sand, aggregates, and water are loaded into the mixer through the hopper. As the shafts rotate in opposite directions, the blades continuously mix and throw the materials, ensuring thorough and uniform mixing. After a set mixing time, the discharge gate at the bottom is opened, allowing the mixed concrete to flow out. The machine is then ready for the next batch, providing consistent and efficient concrete production.
